FemFilmFans, or Triple F for short, is a site designed by fans and scholars of film and television that focuses on women, feminism, feminist theory and female empowerment. The content offered here is meant to inspire, encourage and promote the respectful discussion of visual representations of women and gender, female filmmakers, female film scholars and theorists and their works, and much more.

OUR MISSION

Ignited by our passion for film and television and our desire to encourage more women to take on roles in the industry,
we decided to launch FemFilmFans. 

Our goal is to deliver high-quality content that gets you to think about images in new ways and to consume images more critically. Perhaps you will even be inspired to help shape the visual content that dominates our lives.

While the site has a decided feminist slant, we respect all our readers no matter how they identify as a person. We are not here to bash men or provide our readers with propaganda. For us, feminism means providing every human being (because we're all just humans after all) with the same rights and the same opportunities so they can be the person they want to be.
